The cuffs are pretty large, which adds just a small amount of length and thus a slightly longer reach for getting larger suspects cuffed without the need for a second pair of handcuffs. The cuffs are nearly impossible to pick with the holes positioned towards the suspect and theyre very immobilizing. However, they only fold one way, so you have to reposition the cuffs or modify your draw to put them in a position where the holes end up in the right position. You have additional options for pain compliance when suspects resist mid cuffing. These are large and bulky requiring a fitting cuff pouch. I use the taco pouch which holds them adequately on my outer vest. These cuffs are very sturdy and feel solid. They have a wider grip that better facilitates my larger hands so the cuff blades dont catch my hand and hinder cycling around the suspects wrists. Its nice having rigid cuffs that can fold and take up less space. Also, I got an engraving through Handcuff Wearhouse for only $3 that looks clean and nice - totally worth it.
