CTS Thompson Model 9108 Tri-Max Extra Oversized Handcuffs
Extra-oversized chain handcuffs built for larger wrists or use with padding. Split-shackle construction with a rigid center “monorail” bar. Each side of each shackle has its own floating retaining bar; a double five-tooth pawl engages both.
The monorail is why these are called Tri-Max. It stiffens the cuff vertically and laterally, and it blocks a shim from entering at the nose or the rear of the shackle. A pick through the keyway cannot reach the rear retaining bars. Security is held at three points: nose of the shackle, rear of the shackle, and keyhole.
Opens to an inside perimeter of 8"–10.75". Distance between cuffs is 2-1/2". Weight 14.6 oz. Uses a standard handcuff key; two keys included. Made in the USA.
