New from Smith & Wesson: Model 100EL Extra Link Handcuffs. They have 4 standard links between the cuffs. Useful when prisoners have difficulty bringing their arms together in back. Still fits in most standard handcuff cases.
Back in stock: ADI Saf-Lok Handcuffs. We had a difficult time importing these for several years, but they're back. Standard issue in Australia and used by the US Marshal Service, these are some of the highest quality and highest security handcuffs ever made. The advanced manufacturing methods go way beyond anything else on the market.
Now in stock: ASP Hinged Aluminum Handcuffs. The new rigid folding handcuffs from ASP are now scheduled for delivery in June. Also planned for later in the year from ASP: high security models of their handcuffs that have 2 pawls and use a special key. They are also planning a 3 pawl "European" version of most handcuffs.
We now stock the complete line of Posey restraints. Posey is the market leader in medical restraints.
New from Hiatt-Thompson: Gettagrip Handcuff Grips.
New from Peerless Handcuff Company: Model P010 Chain Handcuffs. Similiar to their standard Model 700, but priced about $3 lower.
The Grip Restraints are now available in MRI-safe versions. Standard metal restraints cannot be used when MRI tests are required on a prisoner. Generally, the transportation officer must remove metal restraints when a prisoner is in the MRI machinery. This creates obvious safety concern for the officer, hospital staff, and general public. The new Grip MRI-safe restraints are the first safe and high security solution. Also, most Grip restraints are now available with Kevlar. The Kevlar belting offers high cut resistance and heat resistance to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.
New from Zak Tool: Zak colored handcuff keys available in orange and pink. Also new: Low profile keyring holder.
Monadnock Double Cuffs are now available in a variety of colors. We currently have them in stock in white, black, red training, orange, blue, purple, yellow, pink, and green. The new colors can be used to help identify threat levels, agency, medical conditions, and other factors as needed.
Cuff Lock Handcuff Key Padlocks are now available in plain brass, red, blue and orange.
Hiatt Handcuffs was recently aquired by American company Armor Holdings, which was then aquired by British company BAE Systems. Hiatt is now headquartered in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, but most manufacturing will remain in England. They are keeping the product line mostly unchanged. Hiatt-Thompson Corporation was formerly the exclusive importer for Hiatt in North America. They will continue selling their popular line of colored handcuffs, blue boxes, training keys, chainwork, and leg irons.
