The Alaskan 654 handcuff key is the biggest key we sell. The key was designed and patented by an officer at the Anchorage PD. It allows an officer to easily use it wearing protective gloves, winter gloves,or mittens. The officer can immediately find it on his keyring. If dropped, it can be easily and quickly found, and anyone with large hands can use it with ease.
The key is designed to be held 2 ways. 1.) Hold the key between the index and middle fingers, gripping the base between your thumb and the palm of your hand. 2.) Hold the base of key between your thumb and index finger.
The double lock pin is positioned so that it is a visual aid to tell you the key is right side up. 4 5/8" long, weighs 2 ounces. The large size of this key offers significant leverage. Excessive force could break tip of key. Key is not warranted against accidental breakage.
